About the role
We are hiring a fully remote System Administrator to own the infrastructure behind a firm that handles sensitive financial records every day. You will manage identity, endpoints, backups, and the security controls that keep our encrypted client vault trustworthy. Security is not a checkbox here, it is the product, and you will be the person who keeps it sound.
What you’ll do
- 01 Administer identity, access, and endpoint management across a remote workforce.
- 02 Maintain backup, recovery, and business-continuity systems for client data.
- 03 Own security controls, patching, and monitoring for the client document vault.
- 04 Support staff with tooling, onboarding, and secure-configuration standards.
- 05 Document infrastructure and lead periodic security and access reviews.
What we’re looking for
- 01 4+ years administering business IT systems, ideally in a regulated or data-sensitive field.
- 02 Strong grounding in identity/access management and endpoint security.
- 03 Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- 04 Familiarity with SOC 2, IRS Pub 4557, or similar data-safeguard frameworks is a plus.
- 05 Self-directed, security-first mindset suited to a remote role.
